Spring Bee Update! š
We have a short and sweet bee update from our hives!
Mandy, our resident beekeeper (and Darnley's tour guide!) let us know at the beginning of March how our bees are getting on, and we wanted to share the news with you!
She shared some wonderful photos with us below:

"Here are some bees eating their winter fondant. At this time of year, we have to ensure there are sufficient stores, it is easy to lose hives to starvation at this time of year, as the population increases and there is not much forage about."
"This bee is carrying pollen back to the hive. Perhaps from the snowdrops at Cambo? Always a hopeful sign, this should indicate that the Queen has started laying, and the bees are raising brood."
